Kontoor Brands' Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Community Outreach and more. Program Overview:

10-week term: May 27th - August 1st
Full-time paid internship
Work will take place on site at our Greensboro, NC headquarters. Relocation/housing is not provided. However, we can connect you with different housing options.

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate/masters program at a College/University and able to receive a paid internship
Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement

A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others

Project Role: Supply Chain/Production Planning Analytics

The SC Analytics Intern will help to analyze, create, and optimize reporting around inventory (quality and segmentation) and supply/demand match. This will include compiling data, providing analysis, and formulating a recommendation. As part of the internship the successful candidate will present a portion of their findings to the leadership of the production planning team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in aggregating data sources and identifying potential gaps in reporting
Work with the planning and inventory teams to create models and exception reporting that will assist in reacting to changes in the supply demand match
Assist in mapping and documenting processes
Assist in other projects as needed

Skills for Success:

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of databases and Business Intelligence software (Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot, Domo, etc.).
Curiosity, creativity, problem solving skills, critical thinking, enjoys puzzles, and constantly asks "why?"
Excellent listening and communication skills, good time management and organization, understands the importance of deadlines.

Experience/Education:

Highly Self-motivated
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
Pursuing a Bachelors/Masters degree in business, supply chain, mathematics, physics or economics. Liberal arts degrees also acceptable if they have taken relevant coursework in advanced analytics, statistics, or information technology.
