Salary Range:
$60,000.00 to $95,000.00 + Benefit + Sign-on Bonus + Relocation Assistance (If needed)
(Offered salary will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
Fully competent to perform all procedures within the Ultrasound Section of the Radiology Department.
Assesses the patient, reviews the orders/ chart as appropriate confirming the reason for exam. Ensures pertinent patient symptoms and clinical history are documented and a signed consent form is present if needed.
Prepares the patient for the procedure, answers any patients questions and effectively communicates with the supervising radiologist for special instructions and/or questions regarding exam protocol.
Responsible for the prompt completion and accurate recording of exam begin and end time in the Radiology Information System (RIS) to ensure timely access to study by the radiologist.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA approved Sonography program. ARRT (Sonography) or ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) preferred
BLS (AHA)
