Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Project Management:

Lead and manage natural resources projects of varying scales, overseeing every phase, including budget, scheduling, report and proposal preparation and client management.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and evaluate jurisdictional waters.
Oversee permitting processes and conduct protected species surveys.

Operational Excellence:

Ensure safety, quality, and risk management objectives are met.
Staff projects effectively with trained and certified personnel.
Drive project profitability and resource utilization.

Community Leadership & Client Interaction:

Represent S&ME in the community and professional organizations enhancing S&ME's visibility and influence.
Foster positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
Provide regular project updates and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and project delivery.

About You:

You have a Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences from an accredited college or university
You have 5-7+ years experience with wetland delineations, stream determinations, Stream Quantification Tool (SQT), environmental permitting, mitigation, protected species surveys, and ecological surveys, and previous experience in the southeast U.S.
You can demonstrate successful team leadership and management at a project level with a good understanding of safety policies/procedures, quality, business metrics, human resources policies/procedures, and risk management concepts
You have GIS experience and/or knowledge
