As a CAD Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc.
(CEC), for the Industrial Water and Wastewater (W/WW) Group, you'll be working on a wide variety of industrial water and wastewater improvement projects.
The Industrial Water and Wastewater Group is typically the lead project discipline completing the project assignment for the Client.
Other technical disciplines (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Controls) will work to complete the Industrial W/WW Groups solution to the problem.
Projects may include:
Water Storage and Equalization, Pump Stations, Pumps and Piping Systems, Industrial Process Water Treatment Plants, Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plants, and ancillary systems and utilities to operate a plant.
You will work from detailed sketches and verbal or written direction to produce:
Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Plant General Arrangements, Facility Layouts, Equipment and Systems Modelling in AutoCAD software, computer-generated to-scale engineering drawings, cross-sections, details, figures, graphs, charts, overlays and isometric drawings.
You will work with talented project team members to support and help you grow as a professional.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree from Technical College;
Preferred degree:
Computer Aided Design, Engineering-Architectural Technology, Civil-Construction Technology or similar program;
Attention to detail; and
Analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills.
