We are seeking a Tax Accountant.

ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of federal and state income tax provision and return work-papers for C corporations

• Preparation of federal and state withholding/composite tax calculations and returns

• Preparation and/or review of sales and use tax returns monthly/quarterly

• Preparation of state apportionment work-papers

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly tax provisions for various domestic corporations

• Preparation of property tax and business tax fillings and coordination of timely tax payments

• Review federal, state and foreign income tax returns and foreign indirect tax returns

• Analyze and prepare book / tax differences for domestic and foreign tax returns

• Perform tax research

• Assist with handling of tax notices and audits

Position Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university Minimum of 1 year of general tax experience or public accounting experience Proficient in use of Excel and Word Self-starter, flexible, collaborative team member Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, technical and non-technical) Accounting, analytical, organizational and multitasking skills are essential Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal colleagues and/or external contacts

Preferred Qualifications CPA license Public Accounting experience preferredProfessional Skills Requirements Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities through pursuing excellence, impeccable attention to detail, and use of effective interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, manage deadlines, and support dynamic initiatives in fast-paced environment Inquisitive self-starter, ability to thrive within the firm's fast paced and client focused environment with shifts in priorities Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Targeted Salary:
$70,000
