The Waco Bridge's multimedia community journalist is a creative storyteller dedicated to serving the Bridge's mission of community engagement and empowerment. Through photography, video, text, social media, and other methods, the Waco-based community reporter tells the stories of people, organizations, and initiatives making an impact in Waco. This reporter also collaborates with the Bridge's other journalists to cover issues that matter most to their community.

This position is in partnership with CatchLight. The corps member will be a CatchLight Local Fellow and along with the host newsroom, be supported by the CatchLight Local Visual Desk.

Salary and Benefits:
$60,000

Medical, vision and dental insurance; a cellphone stipend; company-issued laptop; 20 days of paid time off each year; up to 16 weeks of paid family leave, plus four weeks of additional job protection; 401(k) matching.

This position will be:
Hybrid (some days in the office per week)

Moving Stipend:
Up to $3,000
