The Multi-Craft Technician performs duties under the general direction of the Team Leader/Maintenance Manager and works to perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, installation, modification, inspections, and address any equipment malfunction or breakdowns.
This is a 12 hour a day work schedule (6:45 pm - 6:45 am) with 3-days on and 3-days off.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, belts, gears, or electrical wiring, as needed.
Maintain documentation for existing and new equipment.
Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacement of parts.
Provide assistance to mechanical installations as directed.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, electrical/mechanical problems on machinery.
Interface with equipment operators and maintenance staff to ascertain problems with equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine problems and make appropriate repairs.
Install and service a variety of systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical, communications and process control systems.
Support continuous improvement engineer(s) and production departments by suggesting ways to improve the reliability and/or productivity of the equipment.
Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment.
What You Will Need:
High school diploma or GED. Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
OR
3-5 years related work experience.
Experience with industrial, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and management.
Ability to work individually or in a team situation.
