Patient Types: Imaging sees all kinds of diagnoses including cardiac, trauma, abdominal
Skills required: IV skills, chest tube maintenance, triage, wound care, able to read/interpret rhythm strips, central line care
Technology/Equipment: EMR: Meditech, Medication dispensing: Pixis
Orientation: Not specified
Job Requirements Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
State Licenses: No state license for Sonography but required for technologists in radiation producing areas
Schedule Information Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
Call: Yes for most areas
Holiday Expectations: Yes if it falls during contract
Shift times: variable 10 hours
Schedule cycle: 6 weeks
