The City of Dillon is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk of Court to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our court system.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and accurately record criminal files.
Communicate effectively with defendants, attorneys, and service providers.
Provide exceptional customer service to all court participants.
Perform clerical duties to support court operations.
Organize and prioritize tasks to maintain a well-functioning courtroom.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
Hold a high school diploma or GED.
Successfully pass a background check.
2-3 years of previous work experience (preferred).
Must be able to travel occasionally for training purposes.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
