Overview:

To perform duties to maintain kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

Minimum Required Qualifications

The person in this position needs to:

Occasionally remain in stationary position while washing or drying dishes.
Frequently move about the dish pit and kitchen.
Constantly use fingers and hands to wash, dry and put away dishes, silverware, pots and pans.
Position oneself to place kitchen items on lower shelves.
Frequently use cleaning items such as brooms and mops.
Frequently be able to determine if dishes are clean.
Frequently move equipment, supplies and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across short distances.
Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and be insurable on our company liability insurance as a driver of company vehicles.

Essential Functions

Create a positive and energetic environment that supports the delivery of an exceptional guest experience while upholding the highest level of TCR and Relais & Chteaux standards.
Maintain the extraordinary five star TCR image and resort appearance including all service, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks in the dishwashing machine.
Refill chemicals in the dishwashing machine.
Sweep and mop floors.
Wash worktables, walls and refrigerators.
Keep the kitchen clean, including hood areas and other areas specified by the Chef.
Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
Hose out garbage cans.
Transfer equipment between storage and work areas by hand.
Wash and peel vegetables using a knife or peeling machine.
Help with stock production.
Help with between season kitchen deep cleanings.
Perform any other job duties as assigned.
