JOB SUMMARY: Join our team as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, providing vital pre-hospital advanced and basic life support care to the sick and injured. Your expertise will ensure timely and efficient transportation in alignment with industry standards and protocols.

EQUIPMENT: You will be responsible for using an array of critical equipment such as ambulances, stretchers, spinal immobilization gear, communication devices, and a variety of medical tools necessary for emergency care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: While this description outlines key responsibilities, it is not exhaustive. You may be required to adapt to additional duties as needed.

Conduct meticulous examinations of patients, identifying indicators of illness or injury.
Administer basic and advanced life support care within your licensure limits.
Ensure safe patient handling during transport to medical facilities.
Accurately document patient conditions and treatments.
Perform regular inventory checks and ensure all equipment is ready for use.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the ambulance post-transport.
Operate the ambulance safely, adhering to driving guidelines.
Engage in FCC-compliant communication as necessary.
Attend required meetings and fulfill station maintenance duties.
Assist with precepting new EMTs or students when qualified.
Fulfill all responsibilities typically associated with an Emergency Medical Technician role.
Undertake other assigned tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have:

A high school diploma or equivalent.
Certification as an Advanced EMT as per state regulations.
Current CPR certification.
A valid driver's license.
Effective communication and writing skills.
A comprehensive understanding of operational protocols and safety procedures.
The ability to drive large vehicles competently.
