• Assists physicians and nurses in the performance of all Bronchoscopy and pulmonary procedures while providing quality patient care.
• Responsible for the cleaning and reprocessing of endoscopes and other reusable equipment and supplies.
• Restocks and maintains appropriate inventory level.
• Helps in recovery area when not doing procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Requirements:* High school education or its equivalency.
• Must possess a broad working knowledge of Bronchoscopy equipment and pulmonary procedures.
• Basic knowledge of the pulmonary disease process.
• BLS required.
• Basic arrhythmia class is preferred.
• Serves patient population categories of infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
