Promotes a culture of patient-centered care and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversees nursing operations to ensure high standards of care and patient safety.
Fosters an environment of clinical excellence through ongoing education and professional development for nursing staff.
Implements evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Recruits, mentors and retains nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill mix.
Conducts performance evaluations and provides constructive feedback to nursing personnel.
Encourages teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare providers.
Leads quality improvement initiatives and monitors nursing performance metrics.
Analyzes patient care data to identify areas of improvement and develops action plans.
Ensures adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance in all nursing practices.
Manages the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high-quality care.
Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within nursing services.
Represents the using department in community outreach initiatives and partnerships.
Engages with stakeholders to promote the hospital/s mission and nursing services.

Requirements:
Must hold current license as Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing, with the State of Mississippi
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
BLS required
ATLS required within 90 days of hire
TNCC required within 180 days of hire
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in a critical access or rural healthcare setting
Proven track record in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
