About the Position: *This is a Non-State, TIME-LIMITED Position* WIC Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for managing and performing all program outreach activities related to the WIC Community Outreach and Innovation project and performing outreach activities for the WIC Program. This position will also develop and maintain partnerships with organizations that serve potential WIC participants, and work with current and potential WIC participants via focus groups, surveys, and/ or interviews to solicit feedback on project activities, materials, and strategies. The WIC Outreach Coordinator will receive and resolve issues related to outreach and also serve as a member of the Executive Steering Team for WIC grant projects and attend project team meetings.

What you'll need to be Successful: Detail-orientation with excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal and decision-making skills, and strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to multitask and adapt to situations quickly and effectively. Must have excellent computer skills, including intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams, and Zoom. Must have reliable transportation.

Mid-level Program Management and Support professional position accountable for directing, analyzing, and supervising the processes and activities of a more complex agency program. Employees are responsible for the planning, evaluation, financial and management analysis, and operational auditing of a large and complicated program consisting of multiple projects. Employees at this level typically have specialized technical skills and exercise a higher degree of decision making and independence. Accountable for training and monitoring the work of lower-level program staff.
