DescriptionJob Summary: The Office Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office and administrative functions while providing administrative support to the management staff. The Office Coordinator should be knowledgeable of company policies and procedures to assist all staff members with questions and guidance, assist with onboarding new employees, organize employee purchases, and manage pro-sell account orders.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
  • Onboard new employees by assisting with their new hire paperwork, videos, checklists, and online safety courses.
  • Manage the employee uniforms by ordering new uniforms and controlling the uniform termination process.
  • Calling pro-sell customer accounts to take orders each week and produce invoices.
  • Manage the employee sales orders by producing invoices and forwarding to payroll for deduction set up.
  • Assist sales team and sales managers when needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by phone and walk ins.
  • Ensure company bulletin boards are up to date.
  • Distribute incoming and outgoing mail via the courier service.
  • Perform back up duties for the audit clerk position.
  • Manage petty cash and office supplies.
  • Assist the plant and/or operations managers.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the office and building by communicating with outside vendors to provide cleaning and maintenance services. Occasionally performing some light cleaning duties.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to be stationary for long periods of time.
  • Finger and hand manipulation such as writing and typing for long periods of time.
  • Minimal lifting of less than 10 lbs.
  • Walking and ability to move throughout office and distribution facilities.
Work Environment:
  • Office setting will be the primary work location.
QualificationsQualifications:
  • Valid driver's license and approved driving record.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • High level of organization with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with all level team members.
