This is a job for a Remote Senior Project Manager with a company in the Jackson, MS area.
Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for driving strategic direction and execution of HEDIS improvement projects.
This position manages a portfolio of projects which includes creating detailed designs and project plans, working with vendors to ensure projects are executed as planned, issue resolution, cross-team collaboration, and monitoring project performance.
Responsibilities:
Provides expertise in analytical methodology, including data analysis, used to facilitate data driven decision making, including the collection and monitoring of metrics used to assess, prioritize, and select improvement projects.
Leads in the research, analysis, identification, and evaluation of data from assigned problems to evaluate existing and potential trends and issues.
Possess and maintain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of our industry, products and services, HEDIS measures, and the Star Ratings program which continues to evolve and change.
Initiates and leads problem solving efforts working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible for the development and delivery of multiple concurrent projects/programs that encompass business process design and improvement.
Benchmarks industry best practices to measure organization position.
Executes function/area objectives that support continuous improvement.
Responsible for special projects and/or problem resolutions.
Provides effective and efficient solutions to complex business problems.
Provides high level oversight and leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required.
Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.
Seven (7) years' experience of progressive responsibility in a related environment with demonstrated technical knowledge that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
Strong experience with Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
