Quality Inspector

Duties/Responsibilities
Approve incoming materials:
confirm specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, and reject unacceptable materials in accordance with Stark Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, and Policy, as well as customer requirements.
Approve in-process production:
confirm specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests; communicate required adjustments to production supervisor and personnel.
Approve finished products:
confirm specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, issue COC's, return products for re-work and confirming re-work.
Document inspection results:
complete reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste; input data into quality database.
Issue, review and validate product non-conformances.
Travel is rare for this position however out-of-state and international travel may be assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
IPC J-Std and IPC-610 certifications
Understanding of engineering documents, drawings, standards, and quality requirements.
Significant working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
Demonstrated work experience within a similar manufacturing environment, preferably with similar technical products.
Demonstrated work experience in an environment with quality management system.
Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010
