Position Summary Information
Responsibilities
The Admissions Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and increasing the enrollment of domestic students. This position will be assigned duties both on and off campus and will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Admissions Recruitment. The successful candidate will be expected to identify and implement effective recruitment strategies which may include: high school visits, college fairs, calling and meeting with prospective students, their families, and guidance counselors, and creating a network of professional contacts. Evening and weekend hours will be expected. Effectiveness will be evaluated through weekly task tracking and reporting of productivity as well as monthly evaluation.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution, customer service experience preferred. Expected are an appreciation for successful marketing/sales tactics as they relate to the position and computer literacy; commitment to collaborative planning and teamwork; ability to work evenings, weekends and overnight travel; attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; excellent telephone skills; high energy level; must be a self-starter and highly motivated; high standards of ethics and integrity; outstanding communication and public speaking skills; self-disciplined and capable of working independently and in team settings. A valid driver's license is required.
Salary
Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university's resources.
