Job Details
ICU - Mount Sinai Hospital Summary: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: PATIENT CARE. Delivers patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care and through the application of the nursing process based upon theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards.
Integrates relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
Job Requirements
2 years of critical care/tele experience
Minimum 2 years RN experience
Schedule Information
Schedule 3x12, every other weekend, variable shifts
Unit Specific Information
Avg Unit Census = 8
8 Beds per Unit
Staffing Guidelines = 1:2
Additional Details
ICU - Mount Sinai Hospital Duties Continued. OPERATIONS. Performs charge nurse duties as assigned.
