I. Responsibilities:

Prepares monthly financial statements by collecting data, analyzing, and investigating variances
Assist with consolidation and review of financial data for reporting to parent company
Supports financial decision-making by timely and accurate financial feedback to business leaders
Complies with local, federal, and international accounting standards by studying regulations and adhering to requirements
Adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls
Assembles data for quarterly and annual public filings
Prepares special reports by studying variances, preparing budgets, and developing forecasts
Subject matter expert on financial reporting tools; such as BPC, PowerBI, etc.
Other projects or duties as needed

II. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

BS/BA in Accounting
0-2 years of accounting and/or related financial experience
Strong analytical, strategic, and technical skills
IFRS knowledge a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, processes, and controls
Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
Proficient in Excel
Experience with financial reporting systems a plus
Strong critical thinking skills with attention to detail
A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to complete multiple tasks within established time constraints

Personal Computer
Office Equipment - Multi-function printers

IV. Relationship:

The Accountant, Financial Reporting will report to the Sr. Accountant, Financial Reporting
