ACERTUS is the only tech-enabled automotive logistics company to move, store, recondition, repossess, title & register finished vehicles. As a Skip Tracer, you will serve as a point of contact with Lender Clients, research and locate consumers and or automotive collateral, place repossession orders into the field with local repossession agents, handle fee authorizations, and invoice approvals. This is a fully remote position.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $20 - $24/hr. Plus commissions based on collateral recovered

What you will be doing:

Organize and work thru location servicing databases.
Regularly input data into orders.
Make and receive multiple phone calls regarding the repossession processes.
Filter and distinguish emails regarding repossessions.
Have direct contact with consumers regarding collateral surrender
Place orders with direct repossession agents once collateral is located.
Regularly update your Clients/Agents directly as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

What are we looking for?

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to understand and interpret state-specific and Federal laws.
Strong organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize work according to deadlines and client expectations.
Good oral and written communication skills.
PC Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Personal responsibility to manage change.
Comfortable with being on the phone in escalated situations.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Ability to work within several information generating databases
Strong understanding of best practices for Skip Tracing
