Haskell's Design & Consulting Team unites architecture, engineering, and consulting professionals from across industries and geographies. Our Design & Consulting Team serves a diverse set of markets; this position will be part of our Civil Infrastructure group. As a team member at Haskell, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that will challenge your creativity, innovation, and expand your skill set.

In this role, you will have the responsibility, as a design professional, for the production of innovative, appropriate, cost-effective designs, drawings, and specifications in your discipline for assigned projects. You will maintain professional registration and sign/seal documents prepared under your supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

Researches, documents, and is responsible for discipline design compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, standards, and regulations
Identifies the basis of design for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion sediment control design approach
Able to create clear, complete, and concise stormwater, water demand, and wastewater calculation reports
Directing technical efforts of junior engineers, designers, technicians, and/or interns assigned to the project
Assists Construction Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors in the interpretation and clarification of construction documents and response to requests for information

To thrive in this role, you will need:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
4+ years of civil engineering design experience
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Ability to engage Autodesk Civil 3D

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
