1st shift M-F 8-4pm CST shift. Working Saturdays and OT may be a possibility.
Duration:
3 months
Pay Range : $21/hr on W2
The main function of an installer/driver is to install displays at customer facilities.
Assemble and refurbish decor.
Assemble and decorate new holiday orders per the specifications of each order.
Work within warehouse facilities and on customer worksites.
Install and service interior plant displays, flowers, replica foliage, holiday decor, ambient scenting and wall art for commercial businesses.
Required Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage one's time.
Ability to work on ladders and scissor lifts.
Ability to drive up to 20% of the time.
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly.
Previous experience with design.
Will be driving a box truck. No CDL needed but an MVR will need to be run.
DOT certification a plus, but they are open to candidates willing to get certified. Possible FTE conversion but not guaranteed. If not converted the role will end after 6 months.
Role will require truck loading as well. Candidates must be able to lift between 50-75 pounds. Experience with a boom lift and/or scissor lift a plus.
Max drive distance will be 30-45 minutes. Basic Excel knowledge a plus.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years' experience.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam or hold a current and valid DOT medical card with previous truck driver experience preferred. Landscaping experience is a plus.
