DescriptionThe Shipping and Inventory associate is responsible for vault inventory receipts and locations, preparing shipments to process, picking, packing, checking and loading Curio orders for dispensary delivery. Please note:

This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances.

We recommend that applicants with known plant allergies or sensitivities consult with a healthcare professional before applying for this position.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receiving, stocking and transacting stocks moving from manufacturing and cultivation into the vault storage locations or areas
Maintaining an orderly inventory environment daily
Using existing ERP systems to select sales orders ready to start, create pick documents, create shipments, Metrc requirements and manifesting
Utilize Metrc system as required by regulatory controls to complete inventory or shipment processing
Maintaining accurate transportation schedules based on assignments created by the security team
Accurately picking orders based on documents released
Accurately checking orders based on documents released and physical picks
Accurately packing and identifying delivery totes based on specified packing requirements
Accurately storing all vault records based on retention guidance
Perform physical inventory counts as prescribed by business policy or needs
Perform any tasks related to manufacturing signaling such as Kanban
Investigate customer complaints as assigned
Investigate inventory discrepancies as assigned or found during cycle counts/PI
Use material handling equipment as required to perform assigned tasks
Interact with Sales teams for daily order management and release or other related info
Respond to general inquiries from the organization
Represent the team in daily stand ups and/or Gemba to discuss daily performance
Occasionally contact dispensary customers to troubleshoot issues
Must keep areas clean, secure and organized at all times.

Other Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and very accurate data entry skills to maintain compliance
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and sound judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance
Ability to work flexible hours daily based on business needs with little notice (early shifts, late shifts, weekends, as needed)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
