Registered Nurse Manager - Telemetry - Kansas City, MO

Job Summary: The RN Manager for Medical Telemetry oversees daily operations, staffing, and patient care within the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role includes monitoring nursing practices, ensuring adherence to policies, and holding staff accountable for clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Medical Telemetry unit.
• Ensure high standards of nursing care and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and develop strategies for enhancing the patient experience.
• Manage staffing levels to meet patient care needs and optimize resource use.
• Oversee operating expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with other leaders to drive a culture of teamwork and positive patient outcomes .
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience
• 5+ years of total RN experience.
• Leadership experience as a House Supervisor, or Charge Nurse is also acceptable.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required by the hire date.
• Active RN license in the state(s) of practice (or compact license).
