Layout sprinkler systems according to blueprints and project specifications.Cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings.Install sprinkler heads, hangers, supports, and other components.Drill holes through walls and floors for pipe runs.Maintenance & Repair:
Inspect existing sprinkler systems for damage or leaks.Conduct routine testing and maintenance of systems.Repair or replace faulty or worn-out sprinkler components.Code Compliance:
Understand and adhere to local fire codes and safety regulations.Ensure all installations meet compliance standards.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.Report non-compliance or system issues to supervisors.QualificationsExperience:
Prior experience in a similar role, especially in pipe threading, is preferred but not required; we provide training.Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and schematics.Proficiency with hand tools such as pipe cutters, threaders, porter-band saws, wrenches, and drills.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Physical Requirements:
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or scaffolding.Other:
