Duties:
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating background checks.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Provide support for HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and performance management processes.
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Coordinate training and development programs for employees.
Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping using systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday, Kronos, ADP, or Paychex.
Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, such as staffing agencies or benefit providers.
Support HR projects as assigned.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred - 2+ years of experience in HR coordination or related role - Proficiency in HRIS systems (PeopleSoft, Workday, Ease) and applicant tracking systems (Fountain, Taleo) - Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Experience with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for human resources. Preferred and Differentiating Experience:
High volume recruiting. Experience with document auditing for accuracy and compliance. Have worked with ADP or a top tier payroll system. Have worked in a gig role (entrepreneurial). A background in transportation/logistics. Self motivated, self starter - able to focus on tasks until complete with a competitive spirit and "Inspired" to be better than the rest.
