Job Title: Part Time Dental Hygienist

$2,500 Welcome Bonus!

Location: Farmington Dental Care, 520 West Pine Street, Farmington, Missouri 63640

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality dental care, possess excellent communication skills, and be a team player.

Schedule:

Monday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Possibility to add Thursday: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
Take and develop dental x-rays.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications:

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Missouri.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for patient care and education.
Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Minimum Qualifications

Current dental hygienist license in MO
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
Prolonged periods sitting and standing
Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
