Job Summary:
The Labor & Delivery Nurse is responsible for providing individualized, safe, and efficient nursing care to women before, during, and after childbirth. This position also includes secondary department work in Med/Surg.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited nursing school
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota
Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Completion of Perinatal Practicum course and S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certifications within specified timeframes
Work Schedule:
Night Shift, 7:00pm-7:30am; 72 hours every 2 weeks, including weekend and holiday rotations, with occasional on-call time
