This position oversees Cambria Surfaces' field operations, including leading large installation projects and multiple installation crews and CAD technicians.
The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all operational aspects of the business.Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Project ManagementManage all large commercial and residential projects, by creating timelines, identifying key contacts, and communicating responsibilities.Schedule measures and installations and conduct courtesy calls.Schedule material delivery with the FabShop.Manage the documentation of installations and measurements.Team LeadershipManage weekly employee time sheets.Maintain responsibility over performance management processes for all hourly Cambria Surfaces employees.Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve high performance.Assist in hiring for all field operations positions at Cambria Surfaces.Create a training schedule, set expectations, and monitor milestones.Schedule employee orientations with Corporate HR.Foster teamwork and hold employees accountable.Inventory ControlManage overall inventory levels of tools, blades, bits, and all consumables for the installation crew.Manage the ordering of tools and installation supplies.Oversee shop area cleanliness and care of tools.Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent math skills (geometry, percentages, margins, mark-ups)Ability to analyze reports and spreadsheetsAbility to understand CAD drawings and architectural plansEstimating and documentation skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skillsSuperior organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain focus under pressureTime management skillsAbility to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal & external partiesAbility to deal with customer complaints in a professional and efficient mannerCritical thinking skillsAbility to work extended hours if neededAbility to work in a variety of environments, including construction sites, homes, commercial buildings, and office environmentsMinimum Requirements:
Education:
High School diploma or GEDExperience:
Knowledge of residential construction practices2-5 years of construction experience preferred.2-5 years of leadership experience preferred.Systems:

Need to be able to drive a company vehicle and maintain a DOT certificationCambria's starting salary range for this position is $80,000 - $92,000.
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
