Position Summary:

This position performs electrical, instrumentation, & controls, process, and production maintenance throughout the facility. The Electrical Technician's responsibilities include, but are not be limited to, equipment breakdowns, installation and startups, process improvements, preventative/precision maintenance programs and continuous improvements activities i.e. increasing machine reliability and installation of facility capital investments. Candidate will perform specified electrical work to code regulations.

Alternative job titles for this role may include Industrial Electrician, Multi-craft Technician or Electronics Technician. #firstinpeople

$4,000 sign on bonus available

Nights 6pm-6am 2-2-3

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to respond in an efficient and effective manner to urgent production needs related to equipment.
Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial IE&C work throughout the facility
Utilize CMMS to support the maintenance function including review, execution, and documentation of scheduled/unscheduled work daily.
Understands NEC code to a journeyman level and demonstrates accordingly
Proficient knowledge of conduit installation and wiring layout, along with ability to repair existing electrical systems
Ability to build and/or modify a control panel to a professional level
Proficient understanding of mechanical and/or electrical schematics and blueprints including equipment specific electronics diagrams. Ability to 'red line' changes for engineering.
Proficient knowledge and ability in installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various electrical components and systems including medium voltage automation systems and motor control circuits
Proficient knowledge of power distribution, MMC's, control panels and switches/fuses
