Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Current valid driver's license
Safe driving record
Must be available Monday -Friday 6:30am - 4:00pm
Must pass drug test
Pine Island Schools is looking for a van driver. This job is Monday - Friday, approximately 6:30am - 8:30pm, 10:30am -12:30pm, 2:30pm - 4:30pm with other hours possible. Pay is $19.28 per hour.Job Goal: To provide safe transportation of district students to and from school. He/she is responsible for the general care and daily inspection of the van assigned to him/her/ He/she shall be knowledgeable of all laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to the safe transportation of students and of all district policy.
Responsibilities:
Transport students in a safe manner.
Perform daily pre-trip inspections on his/her van
Complete daily mileage log
Keep van clean on inside and outside
Complies with all traffic ordinances
Discipline to be handled by driver, but if needed, fill out discipline reports and forward to appropriate administrator
Report accidents and violations to Transportation Director
Employee is responsible to be knowledgeable of all District policies
