Job Duties/Description:
Review daily MRP demand and take appropriate action to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.
Place purchase orders with suppliers in accordance with production requirements.
Research, source, and purchase quality materials and products, including labels, Uline items, office supplies, and production materials.
Assess and select vendors based on factors such as price, delivery terms, quality, and other performance metrics.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
Monitor and manage supplier performance metrics, conducting periodic supplier evaluations and benchmarking activities.
Verify order details, including quantities, specifications, and delivery schedules, ensuring alignment with company policies.
Participate in biannual inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring effective communication and resolving issues like shipping errors or pricing discrepancies.
Collaborate with Quality Control to address supplier corrective action reports (SCAR) and enhance supplier performance.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities are aligned with broader business and operational goals.

Requirements:
Previous experience purchasing Labels is required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in using procurement software or ERP systems.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Self-driven, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Additional Info:
Pay range:

$ 85,000-$100,000 with an 8% bonus potential
Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
