Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE
To improve overall plant performance through improved equipment reliability. This is achieved through the implementation of reliability systems and practices including equipment condition monitoring, precision maintenance practices, root cause failure analysis, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Visible leader for safety, health and environmental policies
Responsible for implementing, and monitoring Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs including:
vibration data collection and analysis, lubrication program management and analysis, thermography, laser alignment, equipment balancing, ultrasonic and nondestructive testing and equipment condition inspections
Organize, schedule and execute preventative maintenance activities
Provide on-going reports as needed on the CBM program status and deliver equipment condition reports
Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization and development with the maintenance planner
Responsible to ensure effective team communication
Provide effective individual and team performance feedback
Facilitate the problem solving process
Responsible for the process of gathering input and facilitating task completion through others when needed, including supervision of proactive maintenance tasks (e.g. balancing, alignments, etc)
Research solutions to technical problems and interact with subject matter experts and OEM's.
Failure reporting, analysis, and corrective-action system, root cause and trend analysis
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Education Preferred:
Associate's degree
Field of Study Preferred:
Mechanical Engineering
Required Work Experience:
7-10 years

Required Training/Certifications:
Working experience in Vibration Analysis and Tribology would be considered and asset. Vibration Analysis Level 1
Required Computer and Software Skills:
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, exposure to SAP a plus.
Travel Requirements:
10%

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
