ENGINEERING SUPERVISORJOB SUMMARY:

Utilizes knowledge, skills and abilities to support the Engineering Manager in the achievement of Engineering Systems and Torq Controls.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Engineering Manager in the achievement of Engineering Systems and Torq Controls.
Report key metrics and resolve problems preventing achievement of goals.
Support the plant in monitoring and achieving the operation's annual goals through its ongoing continuous improvement activities and focused problem solving.
On site leader in Systems Control (Problem Solving, Kaizen, World Class Manufacturing, Audit, Preventative and Predictive Maintenance, Torq Monitoring Systems, track OEE, and support development of TPM Systems, etc).
Train and develop Maintenance staff in TPM Systems, and direct reports to meet or exceed Avancez systems and customer expectations.
Lead the plant to adopt continuous improvements, changes, and provide feedback to the corporate level on read across opportunities for preventive action.
Provide work direction, feedback, and coaching to direct reports both staff level and floor operators. Hold team accountable to systems and requirements to improve customer satisfaction and expectations.
Lead plant processes in adherence to customer required data tracking (KPC, Torq, Quality, etc.)
Provide support to all shift crews.
All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 4-year technical degree in Engineering and/or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a production environment

TRAVEL:

Travel Required: Minimum

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Practical experience performing program management tasks and effectively manages all aspects of the program analysis/problem solving, continuous improvement, equipment calibrations, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, Emaint interface with other facilities, etc.)
Technically competent in a wide variety of engineering systems, operations, and robotics, etc.
Train and develop plant staff in the use of engineering tools, and analysis problem solving.
Maintain and validate preventative /predictive maintenance, PVS, and Autonomous maintenance checklists.
Provide support to all 3-shift crews.
High degree of organization skills in a highly complex environment.
Change management Systems.
Just in time/Just in Sequence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
