A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer - North Central (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Perform project-based engineering, design, installation, and troubleshooting of data/security solutions
Implement secure network solutions in collaboration with the engineering team
Provide security engineering consulting services, including assessment, design, and implementation of secure networking environments
Required Qualifications
Advanced-level knowledge and experience with security design and implementation, particularly with firewalls/VPNs (Palo Alto required)
Solid understanding of routing and switching architectures (CCNA level knowledge desired, CCNP+ preferred)
BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and/or 2-4 years of related experience focused on Next Generation Firewall design and implementation
Palo Alto PCNSE 10+ strongly desired; industry security certifications such as CISSP & CEH are preferred
Experience with cloud security solutions and endpoint security technologies is a plus
