About Our Unit
Our Medical Oncology unit is a vibrant 30-bed facility with the ability to expand to 36 beds, providing specialized care for patients battling hematological and oncological conditions. Additionally, we have the capacity to accommodate 24 cardiac telemetry patients. Our dedicated RNs are chemo certified, and we support all team members in achieving certification. Working here offers extensive learning opportunities, including hands-on experience with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, end-of-life care, and unique bedside procedures. Our integrated approach ensures that we provide comprehensive care from diagnosis through treatment and palliation, fostering meaningful connections with patients and their families.

Corewell Health encompasses a robust system of three hospitals, an outpatient surgery center, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation facilities, two long-term care residences, and extensive home care and hospice services across Southwest Michigan.
Role Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will practice within the framework of the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and managing patient discharge. You will collaborate closely with patients and families to create personalized care plans and develop effective educational strategies. Adhering to Corewell Health policies, you will document patient care comprehensively to enhance team communication and patient outcomes.
