JOB SUMMARY:

Based in Novi, MI, the Senior Treasury Analyst will assist with the company's Global Treasury functions, including oversight of daily liquidity and cash management, foreign exchange exposures, hedging, cash forecasting/planning, banking, debt management/compliance and insurance programs.
This high visibility role will also have interactions with Executive Management team including the CFO and will interface with the broader Finance Organization.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform daily cash management activities including contribution and distribution of funds to and from accounts via ACH, wires and checks; reconcile between system and cash transactions
Maintain global treasury policies
Review, recommend and implement solutions to streamline global treasury processes including visibility to global treasury activities and visibility to global cash management;
Manage the company's debt position and models to monitor compliance
Work closely with Manager FP&A on cash reporting and cash forecast processes to monitor global liquidity, determine funding needs and cash repatriation plans
Lead the company's foreign currency risk management strategy and related policies, working closely with global facilities and banking partners to analyze and assess foreign currency exposures and execute trades to hedge exposures where applicable
Administer the company's corporate credit card program and travel expense reporting system including card issuance, employee assistance and dispute resolution
Support insurance program renewals, evaluate claims and legal defense status, track legal and claim charges against deductibles and allocate charges to business units accordingly
Identify and document treasury-related controls and implement changes to enhance controls and mitigate risk
Support Treasurer by performing capital structure analytics and evaluate debt and equity capital market transactions to optimize capital structure and maintain financial flexibility

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

BS/BA in accounting or finance
3-5+ years of treasury experience including:

Strong understanding of liquidity and cash management operations; experience utilizing online bank portals as an administrator and user to complete banking transactions
Prior experience with FX hedging, and experience in analyzing, recommending and executing financial risk management solutions
- Able to develop strong relationships at all levels across, within and outside of the organization and foster relationships with banking partners
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to build complex financial models
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strength in Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional oral and written presentation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
- High standards of professional excellence.
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
