Akoya Behavioral Health is a clinician owned and operated in-home ABA program specializing in children with autism. Our focus is on the family and client together and we believe that by incorporating and supporting the family/caregivers together, we can do more. Our clinical team is lead by a BCBA with over 20 years of experience in the ABA field, having served families and children in more than a dozen different states.

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). KeyResponsibilities:

Provide 1:1 care using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in the homes of the families we serve.
Implement individualized strength-based treatment plans.
Collect data, monitor progress, and support client development in areas including communication, leisure and independent play, social skills, and daily living skills.
Manage problematic/interfering behaviors through effective intervention strategies.
Provide regular updates to the clinical team regarding client progress.
Maintain assent and ensure a positive and respectful environment at all times.
Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships.
Remain open and curious to learn new skills and methodologies.
Utilize creative teaching and problem-solving skills to enhance the learning experience.

Candidate Qualifications:

High school degree or higher.
Preferably a portion of or complete bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or early education.
RBT certification in good standing preferred.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Passion for working with children.
Reliable transportation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to successfully complete a background check.
