• Custodial Services SupervisorSUMMARY The Custodial Services Supervisor keeps office buildings or similar buildings in a clean and orderly condition.
This position inspects and is responsible for a state contracted facility and is a mid-afternoon shift.
They would be responsible for the daily supervision and training of the Custodial Services Technicians.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead a team of 10+ team members and provide guidance to all Peckham policies and proceduresSupervise the team by helping with training and development, coaching and performance managementProvide assistance with scheduling team membersArrange work for team members to complete, when necessaryLearn the budgets for the contract and begin to understand how to work within the budgetsOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prioritize daily tasks in an ever-changing environmentAbility to keep records and send reports as required by contractAssist with discipline steps and corrective actions, when necessaryReview, correct, and approve payroll through the OnTime systemBuild and maintain relationships with internal partners and stake holders, as well as external partners, if necessaryDirect and assign work as appropriateTrain, coach, and adapt to the needs of the teamMaintain safe and clean work environmentPromote Peckham's vision values and services to all customers and stakeholdersAssist in maintaining organizational wide quality standardsOther related duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position supervises up to 10 people with disabilities and/or other barriers to employment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS1-2 years' experience in a custodial capacity6 months - 1 year experience in a supervisor or team lead capacityCombination of education and experience acceptedPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity or ability to learn Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities on a case-by-case basis.PECKHAM IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYEREEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled.
