01/06/2025 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates all approved updates and production aspects of the annual Program of Studies Curriculum Guides for Elementary, Middle and High School
Processes book approval requests to the Board of Education and does all ordering and receiving of textbooks purchased through the district textbook account
Coordinates EPLC review meetings relating to new course, curriculum, resources, and textbook reviews, supports committee work and implementation process.
Coordinates curriculum review committees, EPLC and Board approved curriculum updates.
Coordinates and maintains textbook, core and protected title listings corresponding to all Program of Studies Curriculum Guides.
Maintains employee database of professional development (PD) activities through KALPA, including loading of annual PD calendar and pushing out annual PD into profiles of all employees. Assists staff with questions about KALPA, MOECS, and PD hours.
Assists with planning and coordination of district-wide PD sessions, including design of PD catalog, loading all PD summaries into KALPA, setting up validation surveys and working with session facilitators
Tracks out-of-district workshop attendance and validates employee attendance in KALPA, and assists staff as necessary.
Keeps detailed log of field trip applications
Designs and/or supervises data collection, production and publications of designated internal/external communication
Maintains budget and purchase records, ordering district supplies
Maintains an efficient inventory system of curriculum resources and associated records
Provides excellent service to staff and public who visit or contact the office
Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's Degree or higher preferred
Knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn various web-based software such as KALPA and SMART
Ability to work independently, to exercise good judgement, to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and detail-orientation skills
Good spelling and composition skills
Previous school experience preferred
Outstanding customer service skills when dealing with staff, visitors, community members and vendors

WHAT WE OFFER:
The position is assigned to work 12 months, 261 days per year.
Starting salary is in accordance with negotiated agreement, and increases with experience and education. Classification F-1, $18.56- $24.67

Salary details are available within the GPAEOP Collective Bargaining Agreement
