We are currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to work on a remote basis.

How You'll Help Us:

A Senior Platform Engineer is first and foremost a software developer who specializes in the domain of the processes and resources necessary to enable the development, build, test, deploy, and release of changes to enterprise applications delivered to market while ensuring this occurs as frequently as needed, with the least amount of error possible, and the maximum uptime. Our product, a dynamic virtual platform and its resources include an automated software factory, its logistics and utilities, a digital showroom, and consumer feedback loops. Our customers encompass the entire IT organization including ourselves.

Once You Are Here, You Will:
• Quickly be steeped in a suite of custom accelerators which include:
• Continuously tested & delivered Infrastructure, Pipeline, and Policy as Code
• Extensible automation & dependency management code frameworks
• Development of event driven functions, APIs, backend services, Command Language Interfaces, and Self-Service Developer Portals.
• We eat our own dog food; all your work will be covered with unit, security, governance, and functional testing utilizing appropriate frameworks.
• Armed with these accelerators you will be among the first on the ground to customize and deploy the delivery platform that will enable the application developers that follow us to rapidly create, demonstrate, and deliver value sprint over sprint for much of the Global Fortune 500.
Basic Qualifications:
• 1+ years coding in either Python, Typescript, or Golang
• 1+ years scripting experience in bash or powershell
• 4+ years of networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing)
• 4+ years of systems administration experience with at least one operating system (Linux or Windows)
• 1+ years of experience with one of the following public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Desired Experience & Skills:
• 1+ years of CI/CD experience
• 1+ years of serverless or container-based architecture experience
• 1+ years of Infrastructure as code (IAC) experience
• Can autonomously contribute to cloud and application orchestration code and actively involved in peer reviews
• Can deploy and manage the common tools we use (Jenkins, monitoring, logging, SCM, etc.) from code
• Advance networking (tcpdump, network flow security analysis, can collect and understand metric between microservices)
• Some sense of advance authentication technologies (federated auth, SSO)
Must reside in the US
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $78,100.00-$162,600.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
