Join us as DPW LABORER (SEIU IV)
Are you ready to make a hands-on impact in your community? We're seeking motivated individuals to join our Public Works team as DPW Laborers. As a DPW Laborer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our city's public infrastructure.
Responsibilities Include:
Operating a variety of tools to install and repair water mains, sewer lines, and more.
Collecting and disposing of rubbish, brush, and leaves to keep our city clean.
Driving trucks, tractors, and other equipment to support daily operations.
Performing minor repairs on city buildings, vehicles, and equipment.
Loading and moving materials for various projects.
Utilizing two-way radio communication systems for efficient teamwork.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform manual and semiskilled tasks effectively.
Experience operating machinery and tools preferred.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license required.
