Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Compensation
The pay for this position is $40-$44 per hour based on experience.
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Highlights
The required availability for this position is night shift.
Hours/day: 12
Shift Time: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Shift Notes: 12 hour Nights (36 hour guarantee)
Weekend Requirements: Every Other
On Call Requirements: None
Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Responsibilities
Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures.
Prepares blood, plasma, and platelets for transfusions by conducting blood group, type, and compatibility tests.
Ensures operation of analyzers, spectrophotometers, colorimeters, flame photometers, and other laboratory equipment by calibrating; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
2 Years of Experience - Required
Able to work Independently - Required
ASCP eligible does not need to be active - Required

Travel Experience - Highly Preferred
