Medical Assistant - Back Office Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Responsible for supervising the daily operations of the clinical staff of a medical clinic. Acts as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments. Mediates issues between back office staff and physicians as well as other departments in the clinic.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Kidney Specialists teams at Samaritan Health Services focus on creating a partnership with patients, the primary care provider and the kidney specialist. We provide consultation and treatment of chronic kidney disease at an outpatient clinic.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required.
Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program required.
Two (2) years experience in a healthcare setting required (experience must include one (1) year as a medical assistant).
One (1) year leadership/supervisory experience required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
