Day/Night Rotating, 12-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend and Holiday Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week Experience:
Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical experience required License:
Active RN License in ND or Compact State Certifications:
BLS - must be AHA certified Must-Have:
- EPIC experience - Experience working in larger hospitals (200 beds minimum), level 2 or higher trauma center
- Collaborate with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
• Utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards in the assigned clinical setting.
• Utilize equipment such as EMR-Epic, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and Telemetry.
• Rotate every other weekend and holiday as part of the scheduling.
• Potentially float to any Med Surg unit across multiple campuses as needed.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:
1 during day shift and 6:
1 during night shift.
• Attend unit-specific training:
1-day lead center training plus 2 shifts on the unit with a preceptor.
• Adhere to the dress code with navy blue scrubs.
Comments:
This is a new Med Surg Unit opportunity, with the possibility of covering for core staff during transitions.
Remote candidates are welcome, with a preference for those residing beyond 60 miles from the facility.
