VP, Product Management, North American Mobility

Our North American Mobility Business is focused on delivering valuable payment services and insights for companies who leverage vehicles as a core part of their business from small businesses to global trucking and delivery companies.

As a key member of the North American Mobility Sr. Leadership team, you will partner closely with Commercial, Operational, and Technology to own and drive our North American Mobility product strategy. In this role, you will be accountable for creating an integrated product vision and strategy to drive high-value business outcomes by solving our customers' major pain points through product innovation and the commercialization of new products. You will manage a team of product leaders and product managers that will manage, define, and deliver the products and customer experience for each of our North American Mobility products.

The candidate will build a culture of customer-driven innovation, rapid experimentation, collaboration, data-driven decisions, and accountability, including:

• Product Strategy and Vision:
  Develop and execute a bold vision for small business product offerings, with a focus on mobility and payments space, supported by rapid experimentation, external competitive assessment, and strategic partnerships and/ or acquisition to build confidence and traction, including the current small business portfolio, our new acquisition, and new product ideas.

• Market and Customer Focus:
  Understand and incorporate market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape into product strategy.

• Experimentation and Launch:
  Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation to rapid experimentation, scaling, and successful market launches that drive revenue.

• Outcomes focus:
  Lead with a mindset of accountability and a bias for learning and action, creating a culture of rapid experimentation to deliver on business and customer outcomes.

• Commercial Mindset:
  In partnership with key players across WEX, develop and execute strong go-to-market strategies, including pricing, packaging, marketing, and sales enablement, to ensure successful product adoption and profitable revenue growth.

• Team Leadership and Development:
  Build and lead a team of product managers through clear prioritization, frequent coaching, and transparent feedback, creating a culture of inclusiveness, empowerment, results, and trust.

• Cross-functional Leadership:
  Collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization, working with teams in marketing, sales, operations, and technology to drive product success.

Experience you'll bring:

• 15+ years experience in product management, ideally with experience in Mobility, Payments, or Financial Services

• 10+ years of progressive product leadership experience.

• Strong leadership presence and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence across a broad set of stakeholders and executive leaders to drive strategic alignment

• Ability to set a bold vision for the reimagined experiences, and develop a strategy to execute and iteratively deliver on the vision.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an extensive use of both quantitative and qualitative data, to drive prioritization and performance.

• Deep customer centricity, with a passion for understanding customer problems and rapidly experimenting to solve them.

• A proven track record of delivering on complex initiatives working across multiple teams and stakeholders, including facilitating alignment with roadmaps and cross-team dependencies.

• Strong leadership and communication, with a style that is collaborative, upbeat, inspirational and performance-driven.

• Strong coaching and mentorship with a track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams.

• Experience building scalable, shared capabilities.

• Demonstrated success in creating a vision to inspire, prioritizing key deliverables, defining and building roadmaps, and managing internal and external commitments.
