• Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Minimum 1-3 years of RN experience (preferred)
• Partner with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing both direct and indirect care.
• Work in specialized units tailored to meet the needs of Alzheimer's/dementia residents, using verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to understand and manage difficult behaviors.
• Provide needed care for residents requiring long-term placement in a home-like environment.
• Offer short-term, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, strokes, and other short-term conditions where rehabilitation is beneficial.
• Perform nursing services such as IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.
• Required education includes an Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience and education that provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed.
• Applicants should demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
• Up to 16 hours of orientation may be unpaid.
