Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Clinician position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months separation from employment.

~ 26Hours/week, Part-time, Day shift ~

Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

This is a 26-hour position with benefits, located at the Neurology and Palliative Care practices in Brunswick.
This practice is well versed in integrating behavioral health into the patient experience.
They value the partnership with behavioral health clinicians and work collaboratively to optimize patient outcomes.
Being integrated into a practice reduces stigma for patients, increasing their willingness to participate in care.

The clinician's role includes providing screening, assessments, and focused brief treatment to patients of the practice.
Treatment structure includes individual, family, and group work.
Additional functions of the role include providing curbside consultation to providers, linking patients to additional services and supports, and participating in population health activities that targets the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people.

This position will be a generalistMaster's Level mental health Clinician with interest, training and/or experience integrating mental health services into the primary care setting.
This position will be placed in primary care practices, work with adults, families and children; and provide assessment, screening, and referral services.
Additionally, brief individual therapy, prevention and educational services will be provided and include collaborative work with primary care physicians and their office staff, psychiatrists and other behavioral health providers.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:
Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
License/Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred, or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor by exception.
Valid Driver's license required.
Experience:
Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.
