The Orthopaedic Technologist/DME staff person is responsible for assisting in the delivery of healthcare and patient care management.
Education - HS Diploma or GED, Completion of Orthopedic Technician Training Program preferred.
Experience - At least one (1) year full-time work experience in a hospital, clinic or office setting; working directly in the treatment of orthopedic patients preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification - BOC certification must be obtained within one year.
ROT certification preferred.
Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Possess knowledge of healthcare field, medical specialty and medical terminology.
Possess knowledge of EHR's.
